Ben's WWII Letters

In 1943 BENJAMIN KAPLOW was drafted into World War II right out of Madison High School, Rochester, NY.

He wrote a total of 192 letters to his family describing his experiences in basic training and then off to war.  Ben’s family had saved everyone of his letters.
After Ben passed away on March 23, 2007 a box of letters that had been tucked away for so many years was discovered by Florence, his wife of 53 years who had never seen the letters. Florence scanned each of Ben’s letters which can be read in Bens hand writing and heard through volunteers reading Bens Letters on her website ( http://www.benkaplow.com)  honoring Ben and all the people that served in WWII.

I am proud and honored to have been given the opportunity to be part of this tribute by reading some of Bens letter.
